White painted wood panels in front of windows
Site specific installation at Museum of Siam, Bangkok
2022
This work looks at the outer landscape of a museum from the inside through numerical windows. According to recent findings in cognitive science, the discovery of numerals has enabled us to perceive time and space in concrete terms. In other words, numbers represent time, and numbers represent space. Moreover, the myriad numbers are an arrangement of chance, so to speak, chosen by citizens by rolling a dice.
In other words, 'time and space' appear in the museum by chance. This coincidence makes the museum itself an ever-changing entity, likewise nature and the landscape. Furthermore, it is we humans who continue to change who possess the awareness of change.
