TAO ART
TAO ART, teaming up with SCAI THE BATHHOUSE, presents “Endless Life Cycles,” the first solo exhibition of Tatsuo Miyajima in Taiwan. The exhibition brings together 12 artworks including number LEDs, prints and paintings from the past 5 years.
In Miyajima’s works, numbers trace the rhythms of life, time and space. Each round of count down forms a life cycle. The extinction of “0” turns into darkness, representing death, void or nothingness, which is a vital phase in the cycle of reincarnation. Each one of us is a part in the flux of being alive, invited to reflect on our roles within the larger cycles of existence.
