KAKI TREE PROJECT

This is an international art project with children to think peace through planting the “bombed Kaki Tree Jr” from Nagasaki. “Revive Time” Kaki Tree Project is a workshop-based art project initiated by tree doctor Masayuki Ebinuma and contemporary artist Tatsuo Miyajima. It supports children all over the world in planting events and workshops to help them find an opportunity to think about the meaning of peace through planting the “saplings from the bombed Kaki Tree.” The project has taken place successfully in more than 270 places in 24 countries.
