Miyajima created this work as a tribute to the Japanese artist Atsuko Tanaka.
Tanaka was a member of the GUTAI group who were active in the 60's. Her masterpiece, "Electric Dress," had a great impact on Miyajima.
Because he found out that he could wear “light" through Tanaka’s work. He decided to wear "time" instead of light. It was just like Bagworm wearing “Time."
